What is it?

Segregation allows a part of a property to be separated so that it becomes an independent property, while maintaining the rest of the original property. This operation must be formalized in a public deed and, in most cases, requires compliance with the applicable urban planning regulations before its registration in the Property Registry.

¿Qué documentación debo aportar?

  • Valid official identity document.
  • Documentation accrediting the assets.
  • Licencia administrativa o documento que acredite que no es necesaria.
  • Positive Graphic Validation Report of the segregated property and, sometimes, of the rest of the property.

What procedures does the notary carry out?

After signing. The notary carries out or prepares the presentation of the deed in the Property Registry.
