Portal Notarial del Ciudadano

The Citizen Notarial Portal is the electronic headquarters of the General Council of Notaries, developed by the Technological Center of Notaries (CTNotariado), which allows citizens and companies to carry out numerous notarial procedures securely over the Internet.

Its objective is to facilitate the relationship with any notary office in Spain, maintaining the highest standards of identification, confidentiality and security typical of the notarial function.

Among other functionalities, the Portal allows:

• Verify the authenticity of electronic copies using its Secure Verification Code (CSV), verifying at any time that the document is authentic and has not been altered.
• Request an appointment with a notary office.
• Freely choose the notary with whom you wish to carry out a procedure.
• Request and manage certain notarial services electronically.
• Receive and consult documentation deposited by the notary in your personal space.
• Participate in notarial videoconferences when permitted by law.
• Check the status of certain files and communications with the notary.
• Access your personal area through secure electronic identification systems. 

The Portal continues to incorporate new services as the digitalization of the notarial function progresses, becoming the main access point to the electronic services of the Spanish Notaries.
